Skip a line or two under the passage and record a 3-5 sentence response to the selected paragragh. What makes it so intriguing? What connections, inferences, predictions, or deeper meanings can you draw from this passage?
Now that you have read the first two chapters, do you feel that Jonas is right in his pondering about the need for the precision in language? Should we be more precise is our word usage? What are the consequences in our lack of precision?
